Cindy has a deep expertise in accent correction: her many years of experience allow her to focus on key sounds to address, based on the speaker's native language. This approach leads to rapid progress in relevant and impactful areas, which motivates the trainee to stick with the work. This is a virtuous circle.
She understands the struggles and has a realistic, empathetic approach to coaching. The feedback on recordings is nicely balanced: pointing out progress, encouraging, while also clearly outlining areas that need focus. The feedback is very precise and actionable, with examples provided by Cindy. It is a nice way to touch base between sessions.
To fully benefit from this program, you will need to make a time investment. But it is definitely worth it. You can make tremendous progress in a few months.

The moment I understood, I was so encouraged.
Based on my own accent pattern, Cindy designed specific areas for me to improve.
The "10 words" section was also invaluable, as I received one-on-one coaching on my challenging words specifically for me.
Another important area is intonation. I started to pay attention to intonation and made some progress. Personal speech analysis let me understand ... the moment I finally understood syllabic N and L, I was so encouraged.
Cindy's comments on intonation were so powerful. Cindy's prepared very focused and specific training materials, which are tailored for me, like n/l; vowels, r, etc. One common issue for me is saying people's names. Cindy helped me find the right tools and showed me the right pronunciation.
Through the course, I learned to use online tools, dissect my accent/speech issues. The course laid a solid foundation for me to continuously improve in the future.
I noticed that very few people asked me to repeat myself after I started the training with Cindy. Some of my coworkers commented that my speech became clearer. I think the most important point is ... that it is never too late to improve your spoken English.
If you have an "accent", that usually means that you have many very minor variations/mistakes in your pronunciation. You have to hear where the difference is. Then you need to have a strong will to improve, one word, one vowel/consonant at a time.
When you practice enough, it will be closer.
